| Donald W Moore, MD
Dr. Moore grew up in Madison-Mayodan and attended school here. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduating with honors (Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Eta Sigma) and Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem. He completed his three-year residency in Family Medicine at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.
Dr. Moore returned to Madison & Mayodan after his residency, working for Dr. Cox, Dr. Joyce & Dr. Hughes. He has worked for Western Rockingham Family Medicine since 1980.
Dr. Moore lives in the community, is married and has 3 children. He attends the Mayodan Moravian Church. Dr. Moore is a firm believer in preventative health care.

Dr. Tom Pickard is from Gibsonville, NC. After graduating from Northeast Guilford Senior High School, he attended UNC Chapel Hill where he received is Bachelor's in Chemistry with highest honors, and was awarded the Venable Medal for excellence in chemistry. He graduated from the UNC School of Medicine in 2005, and completed his residency in family medicine at Moses Cone Hospital in 2008
Tom is Married to Emily Hardy Pickard, who also is from Browns Summit. They have one son, Warren, who keeps them busy when they are not at work. Tom enjoys baseball, camping and woodworking.

| S Dean McPhail, MD
Dr. McPhail was born in South Carolina, graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, and completed medical school at The Medical College of South Carolina. After finishing medical school, Dr. McPhail served in the military as a General Medical Officer. When he completed his residency, he began his private Obstetric/Gynecologic practice in Greensboro, NC. Dr. McPhail has served in several leadership roles as the Chief of OB/GYN and Medical Staff Services at Wesley Long Hospital.
Dr. McPhail is closing his Greensboro office, and will no longer be practicing Obstetrics but has begun working at Western Rockingham Family Medicine providing primary care including gynecologic services for patients. He welcomes his current patients and is accepting new patients.

| Donna F Steadman, FNP
Donna Steadman is a graduate of Madison-Mayodan High School, High Point University and the University of Virginia. She received her teaching credentials from Brigham Young University and is a preceptor for nurse practitioner students at UNC-G.
She is the mother of 3, grandmother of 3 and a cub scoutmaster.
She is very active in her church and loves her patients.

Mary Margaret Martin grew up in Virginia. She attended Patrick Henry Community College, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Radford University then graduated from Old Dominion University as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
She is married and has 3 sons who are very athletically active with one in marching band. She came to Western Rockingham on a part-time basis in 2003, then became full time in early 2006.

Susan graduated from Roanoke Memorial Hospital School of Professional Nursing. She received her Bachelor's in Nursing from Medical College of Virginia and then graduated from Old Dominion University as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She joined Western Rockingham Family Medicine in May 2008.
Susan is married with one son and family fun includes golfing and camping.

| Tammy Eckard, Pharm-D, CPP
Tammy Eckard is originally from Briscoe, NC, a small town much like Madison. She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1997 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and then a Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2001. Tammy has certifications in diabetes and hyperlipidemia and became a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner in 2006.
She lives in Summerfield with her husband Stew, who is also a pharmacist and two sons. When away from work she enjoys traveling, gardening and spending time with the youth at her church.

| Michelle Bozovich, Pharm-D, CPP
Michelle Bozovich graduated from UNC Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy with both a Bachelor's in Pharmacy and a Doctorate of Pharmacy. After completing her residency at Moses Cone Family Practice, she joined Western Rockingham Family Medicine in 1996. She enjoys working in Madison and the relationships that she has made with patients over the years. She states the community has welcomed her with open arms since she started working here.
Michelle has been married for sixteen years to Phillip and they have three chidren. Phillip and her dad are also pharmacists. Besides seeing patients who have health problems such as diabetes and high cholesterol, she also precepts students in the doctor of pharmacy program at UNC Chapel Hill and serves as an adjunct faculty member.

Mary Beth Dixon is a native of Chatham, Virginia. She attended Salem College and received her Physician Assistant degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine. She worked in cardiology for six years prior to joining Brown Summit Family Medicine.

| Lawrence S Slotnick, MD (1945 - 2008)
Dr. Slotnick was a native of Brooklyn, NY, who has lived and practiced in Guilford and Rockingham County since 1977. He joined Western Rockingham Family Medicine in August of 2001. He practiced preventative, loving and caring medicine until December 2007. He was a Board Certified Internist and Lung Specialist who was an expert in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Allergies and Asthma.
He was an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and Family Practice; UNC CH. He was the Director of the Pulmonary and Allergy Clinic at Moses Cone Hospital’s Family Practice Center.
